 Boycott the outcome of election
Last update 10-09-12Today would have been an opportunity for Somalis to elect a new President democratically and fairly. It seems that this would not happen due to allowing on last minute the war criminals to participate the election process.
On Election Day, the new parliament speaker allowed the ex-Somali warlords to participate the election.
It’s a tragedy that Mohamed Osman Jawari wasted an important opportunity for created a unified Somali State.
Puntland needs to immediately take the following steps:
· Not to recognize the outcome of the election
· Declare its independence immediately
